Hello everyone. Let me share you how i made my Puff pastry.This is the best Puff pastry i have ever use so far.. Just follow the step by step method. Puff pastry rolled in dough filled with fats or the popular one using butter.. its very versatile product in the kitchen because it is very versatile. We can use it both in savoury and dessert dishes. e.g Tarts, wellingtons, turnovers. pies, toppings for baked soups and casseroles. Ingredients: 13ounces ALL PURPOSE FLOUR 3 OUNCES COLD BUTTER. cubed 1/4 teaspoon salt 7 fl.oz.very cold water 10 ounces clod butter extra flour for dusting. Here'how *Mix flour ,salt with cold butter and combine it using pastry blender or work with your hands.. BLEND everything until you reach sandy/ cornmeal texture.. Pour in water and combine again. this time just use your hands. Form it in a small ball. Dust your working table with a little flour and roll the dough ball in it Gently knead dough until they just combined.. Wrap in clean film. and rest in the cooler for Overnight. Lay first plastic wrap in working surface and fill in butter, cover with second plastic wrap. Press butter with Rolling pin to make butter sheet. , Place butter in chiller as well The following day. Take butter sheet and dough out of the cooler. Press dough with rolling pin and press it to make 12x6 flat dough. Brush excess flour from the top of the dough using pastry brush. Make sure no trace of dry flour. Place butter in the middle and . carefully fold all corners to cover butter. Gently press dough with rolling pin. try to work gently and do not press hard so that butter won't tear off. Continue pressing it until you make rectangular shape of the same size(12x6) rectangle dough.Fold this in to three..wrap it in clean plastic film wrap Rest half an hour before you proceed to second folding. Do this five times.
